St. Louis, MO (December 18th, 2008) -- Nick Lyons Motorsports started their 2008-2009 season in Florida this past weekend at the 100 lap $10,000 to win 4th annual NeSmith Chevrolet World Championship Race this Friday and Saturday nights at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL. The team has also unveiled a brand new color scheme for 2009 and the team website www.NickLyonsMotorsports.com has been adjusted to fit the new car.

In Florida this past weekend Nick started the weekend by drawing a #187 in the pill draw for qualifying (Third worst). From there he finished fifth in his heat, this put him in a B-Main on Saturday and he managed a fifth place finish, however only the top three transfer to the A-Main so the weekend was cut a little short.
