(St. Louis, MO - June 21st, 2008) -- Nick was running at Tri-City Speedway Friday night and he had the car hooked up all night long. Nick found himself leading the feature through turns 1 and 2 but then heading into turn 4 something broke in the rear suspension while holding the lead. It caused the car to make a hard right turn as he went through turn four causing the car to slam into the outside wall on the driver's side of the car.

Lyons was dazed in the accident and complained of dizziness. He was removed from the car on a backboard by paramedics and treated at the track. However, he refused to be transported to the hospital and was looking over his car after the races as the team struggled to get the badly damaged car into the trailer after the race program was complete.

As of 11 am Saturday morning Nick was at home resting. The team is looking to have a car back on track in the next few weeks. Be sure to stay tuned to the website as time progresses for more info.
